Due to continued growth in our robotics / automation portfolio, this role supports our customers working alongside the Field Sales Specialists, Service Engineers, Sales / Marketing and is considered the key link between these teams.
Accountabilities:
- Supporting existing, new automation and liquid handling robotics installations
- Developing applications and training customers in using the equipment.
- Ensure adequate training and information is given to the sales team to enable them to close their opportunities
- Provide demos, technical support and training for our customers enabling them to use our technologies effectively and efficiently
The Person:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant scientific discipline
- Training in operation and applications of scientific equipment
- Programming is essential and experience with automated scientific equipment particularly liquid handlers is preferable
- Knowledge of chemistry/biology/biochemistry techniques with exposure in the pharmaceutical, life sciences or biotech industries a distinct advantage
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients of varying technical knowledge
- Understanding of computer programming languages
- Demonstrated energy / passion to provide innovative solutions
- Ability to travel domestically, some international travel may be required (for training)
